Length: 6 weeks
Cost: $10 per session
Taught by: Anish Leekkala. He is a current high school junior, whose passion lies in coding and computer science. He achieved a score of 36 on the ACT and is heavily involved with his community. He has been programming for 7 years. He has done many projects throughout his career, one of which is a geography bee app to aid students to prepare for the rigorous national competition.
Session #1
Title: Intro to HTML: Basics, Elements, Attributes, Headings, Paragraphs, Styles
Content Outline: At the end of this lesson, students will be able to understand basic HTML elements such as headings, breaks, links, images, styles, and paragraphs. They will also be able to learn about the basic structure of HTML and know how to use some of the various attributes such as src, img, alt, width and height. Students will also be able to use headings, paragraphs and basic HTML styles and learn how to start implementing these features into a basic website.

Session #2
Title: Lists, Classes, ID, IFrames, Tables
Content Outline: Students will learn how to compartmentalize their code and begin the transition to Javascript through ordered and unordered lists and creating classes and through specific ids for each HTML element. Students will also learn how to make frames within frames and use this to build on their website from last week.

Session #3
Title: HTML Responsive, Forms, Media, Video, Audio, Plugins, APIs
Content Outline: Students will learn how to create their own version of google forms and how to make their websites responsive to all screen sizes whether it be computer, phone, iPad, etc. Students will also be able to embed not just images, but video, audio, other plugins and learn how to use maps with HTML, learning about API's, especially the Geolocation API and learn how to implement it in their websites.

Session #4
Title: HTML/CSS, JavaScript Intro, JS Syntax, JS Comments
Content Outline: Students will be able to utilize basic CSS and make their websites better and delve into basic Javascript, basic syntax and how to organize your code through comments.

Session #5
Title: JS Variables, Operators, Arithmetic, Conditions, Strings, String Methods, Numbers, Number methods, JS Loops, For, For in For, Of, While, Break, Sets
Content Outline: Students will be able to utilize basic variables, operators and learn the basics of a programming language as well as learning how to do math with Javascript. Then, students will learn about basic conditional statements such as if, else, while, for, and learn about strings and numbers and how to perform methods on both of them. Students will also learn about basic arrays, dates, using getters and setters to protect and compartmentalize your code, and implement harder math concepts. Lastly, students will learn about basic methods like for loops, breaks, and basic storage methods like sets and map.

Session #6
Title: Final Project
Content Outline: Students will create a final project in which they will update their website to include all of the features they have been learning from the past sessions.
